The estate can be found in rue des Géléries very close to the centre of Bourgueil, in the area around the abbey where monks planted the first vines around the year 1000.
I come from a family of winegrowers and continue the work of my ancestors, who have been operating in the same street since 1913. The estate is unique in that it is located in three appellations: Bourgueil, Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil and Chinon.
Today our 32 hectares span more than 45 parcels, which have belonged to the Meslet, Thouet and Rouzier families for several generations. Because I work close to nature and my Loire Valley terroirs, I have opted for sustainable methods which make only moderate use of pesticides.
We take care of the environment in which we live and work each day in a quest to achieve optimum grape maturity, because it is this maturity which gives the wines their richness and delicate, elegant complexity.
