Domaine Bruneau-Dupuy has been in the same family for many years. Today it is me, Sylvain, and my wife Angélique who manage the vineyards. All our wines are Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil made from 100% Cabernet Franc. Two-thirds of our terroir lies on sand and gravel and one-third on chalky-clay slopes. We have been converting to organic since the 2013 vintage. In actual fact, our journey began in 2006 when I started to till all my land.
For me, tilling the land is a craft just like carpentry – there is something noble about it. And it is the raison d’être of any terroir!
