The vineyards extend over 29 hectares and are planted exclusively to Cabernet Franc. We are fortunate that our vineyards cover the full gamut of terroirs: sand, gravel, siliceous clay and chalky clay. It is the different terroirs which give our wines their particular character and typicity.
On the gravel terroirs typical of the Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil appellation, we produce pleasant soft fresh wines which can be enjoyed from an early age. They have a bright ruby red colour and often the purplish hues typical of a young wine. They open with a seductive cocktail of red and purple fruits, leading on to intense soft fruity flavours of predominantly cherry, blackberry and raspberry, and finishing on the perfect balance of round and fruity tannins which linger on the palate.
Our wines can be enjoyed at any time of day. They go particularly well with bread and cold cuts such as charcuterie from Touraine and roast or grilled white meats.
